Welcome Brethren to the 2026/2027 Masonic Year

Brethren,

It is with great enthusiasm and optimism that I welcome the beginning of the 2026–2027 Masonic year. A new year offers us the opportunity to renew our commitment to the timeless principles of our Craft, strengthen the bonds of Brotherly Love, and continue the important work that unites us as Freemasons.

The year ahead promises meaningful work, enriching educational opportunities, memorable social gatherings, and countless moments of genuine fellowship. Together, let us approach every meeting and every event with a spirit of unity, service, and dedication, ensuring that our words and actions reflect the values and teachings of our Craft.

May this Masonic year be one of growth, harmony, and accomplishment for every Lodge and every Brother throughout Ontario District. I look forward to sharing this journey with each of you as we continue to build upon the proud legacy of those who have gone before us, while laying a strong foundation for those who will follow.

The Ontario District of Masons

Masonry is first and foremost a fraternity rather than a service organization, social club or benevolent society. However, charity in the form of helping other people, is considered to be a cornerstone of the fraternity.

Ontario District

In the early years, we had in our "Ontario District", Toronto, Peterborough, Millbrook, Omemee, Lindsay, Fenelon Falls, Keene, Norwood, Minden, and Woodville, along with the current Ontario District Lodges. As numbers grew, the other Lodges were then split off into different Districts to make things more manageable.
